How do I schedule an appointment?

I like to meet with all potential clients prior to working together to ensure I am a good fit for you, and to give you an opportunity to get to know me before deciding if you would like to engage in therapy with me.

If you're interested in working together, please schedule a free consultation. If we decide during the consultation that we are a good fit to work together, we can schedule your first appointment at that time. Once we begin working together, you'll be able to book in appointments at your convenience via an online portal.

How often will we have sessions and how long do they last?

Sessions are 50 minutes in length. I typically recommend weekly sessions to begin with, and then shifting to bi-weekly/monthly down the line. That said, there is no set frequency of sessions, and we can decide together what makes sense for your specific circumstances.

Do you accept insurance?

I am covered by most insurance policies. To be certain my services will be covered, it is always best to check with your specific insurance provider on what services they cover. Here's the information you need to do so: I practice Psychotherapy, am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and my registration # with the CRPO is #12461.

Do you offer direct billing?

I do not offer direct billing. This means you will need to pay for your session up-front (via Credit Card or e-transfer) and I will then send you a receipt which can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement (assuming my services are covered under your specific plan).

Do you offer couples or family therapy?

At this time, I only offer individual therapy, and I only work with adults over the age of 18.

Do you offer in-person therapy?

My practice is fully virtual and I do not offer in-person therapy at this time. All sessions are conducted on a cloud-based software called Owl Practice. This software is fully PHIPA compliant, meaning it is very safe, secure, and confidential.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 24 hours notice for re-scheduling or cancellation of sessions. Any sessions cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee.
